Event Details: Ledisi is a Grammy-winning singer and multifaceted artist with over 20 years in music. Inspired by Nina Simone, her acclaimed album Ledisi Sings Nina earned her a 14th Grammy nomination. She has received numerous awards, including a Grammy, Soul Train Music Awards, and multiple NAACP honors. Beyond music, she is an accomplished actress, appearing as Mahalia Jackson, Patti LaBelle, and Gladys Knight in film and television. A Broadway performer, producer, and entrepreneur, Ledisi also teaches at Berklee College of Music and serves as the second Black woman President of the Recording Academy’s Los Angeles Chapter, championing diversity and the arts.
