MEN WHO DANCE RETURNS TO THE BROWARD CENTER

Published: Nov 2, 2022

Chosen as one of the top dance events of the season by The Miami Herald, Men Who Dance performs in the Amaturo Theater on Saturday, November 26 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 27 at 3 p.m.

Men Who Dance returns with an expanded cast and repertoire of dance companies and invited artists in an explosion of artistic expression meant to explore, deconstruct and redefine some of the concepts and notions of masculinity.

The event is produced by the Inter-American Choreographic Institute (ICI), which seeks to use the performing arts to highlight the challenges and successes of our diverse communities, as well as the values, dreams, and hopes that unite us all. The ICI also develops, organizes, and implements strategies to empower arts and community organizations, especially through public-private partnerships.

The peformances are presented as part of the Broward Center’s Arts Access Program, which assists community-based South Florida organizations in presenting arts and cultural performances at the Broward Center. The program provides technical assistance and marketing support to local community groups enabling them to develop and build their audiences.

Tickets are $25-$45. Ticketmaster is the only official ticketing service of the Broward Center and Parker Playhouse. Buy tickets online at BrowardCenter.org, or Ticketmaster.com; by phone at 954.462.0222 or in person at the Broward Center’s AutoNation Box Office.
