Summer Theater Camp
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AUDITIONS
Young Performers will experience an opportunity to perform for the public in this year's musical adaptation of Shrek Jr., taking young children, families, and summer camp audiences on an adventure. This program offers more advanced techniques to campers who learn on a pre-professional level.
New:
- Intensive Training: Workshops and guest artist master classes per week, covering a diverse range of skills including vocal technique, dance styles, acting methods, and more.
- Industry Immersion: In-depth audition seminar and "getting into the biz" practicum during the first week, equipping campers with the tools to navigate the professional theater world and to ace those college auditions.
- Professional Headshots: A photo shoot with a professional photographer to capture stunning headshots for each camper's portfolio (photos available for purchase).
SHREK JR.
Everyone's favorite ogre is back in this hilarious stage spectacle, based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film and outrageous Broadway musical. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical, it's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
