Talented students from the Broward Center's Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center kick off the holiday season with The Broward Center's Holiday Spectacular 2023 on Sunday, December 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center.

The Broward Center Spotlights, Broward Center’s top-level vocal ensemble, promise to delight with a variety of group and solo performances including holiday favorites and greatest hits from Broadway. Team-taught by a professional music director and choreographer, Broward Center Spotlights members learn to perform solos, duets, and group numbers along with choreography. Past appearances by the ensemble include Christmas on Las Olas, Trick or Treat on 2nd Street, live television shows, Coffeehouse Cabarets and Broadway at the Beach.

Students from the Advanced Musical Theater Workshop class will showcase their work through song, dance and original holiday scenes. Receiving top-tier instruction from teaching artist professionals, students in this advanced-level class develop musical theater skills on a pre-professional level by strengthening techniques in singing, dancing and acting.

Guests can attend early to participate in free activities for the family. Activities include Christmas Carols, letters to Santa, the dreidel game, arts and crafts, giveaways and a holiday-themed photo station.
