Published: Sep 9, 2025
This October, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts presents a calendar packed with treats for every taste, from spine-tingling ghost stories to family favorites, soaring Broadway adventures, rock-and-roll thrills and more.
Join paranormal researcher, author and podcaster Amy Bruni in “Walking with Ghosts: An Evening of True Crime Hauntings” on Friday, October 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Amaturo Theater as she takes the audience through an unforgettable evening of real-life ghost stories. Was a man truly executed based on the testimony of a ghost? Is one ghostly voice the key to finally solving the Villisca Axe Murders? Is the basement of the post office that now stands where the HH Holmes murder castle once was as haunted as the postal workers there would have viewers believe? Hear these stories and more as Bruni hosts an evening of hauntings and the true crime mysteries surrounding them. Before she takes the stage, attendees can peruse her small museum of haunted artifacts and spiritualist memorabilia and at the end of the night, audiences will get a chance to ask her anything during a Q&A session.
