Here are 5 ways to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with these virtual and live events from the Broward Center. And when planning your holiday shopping, consider a gift to our Road to Recovery Fund . Your support will help ensure our ability to entertain, educate and engage our community during the holidays and throughout the year!

1 – Acclaimed as "one of the greatest singers of all-time," Grammy Award-winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Darlene Love, has captivated audiences worldwide with her thunderbolt voice that launched dozens of hits including "He's a Rebel," "Marshmallow World" and her signature song, "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)." Don’t miss Darlene Love: Love for the Holidays streaming concert, a one-of-a-kind rockin' holiday celebration available online December 5 through December 25!

2 - Join Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and a host of colorful characters in The
Performance Project’s production of A Christmas Carol, The Musical. This live stage production of the Charles Dickens classic runs December 11–13 in the Amaturo Theater. A virtual adaptation is available online December 16–30 for students and families to enjoy at home, in the classroom or on-the go! This traditional holiday tale is the perfect way to celebrate the season with the entire family!

3 -  With a recording career spanning nearly three decades, and an astounding array of honors including Grammy nominations and Billboard awards, saxophonist Dave Koz is set to ring in the holidays with a host of jazz superstars including Jonathan Butler, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, Peter White, David Benoit and vocalist Rebecca Jade. Tune in December 12 for this one-night-only virtual concert event, Dave Koz &Friends: The Greatest Hits Of Christmas! Each virtual pass includes a digital copy of two of Dave’s latest albums: “A New Day” and “Gifts of The Season”.

4 – Celebrating its 10th return to the Amaturo Theater, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida presents The Nutcracker live on stage December 19 - 20, featuring excerpts from the perennial holiday classic performed to the music from Tchaikovsky's popular score. This regional ballet company features its team of professional and community dancers who light up the stage with visions of snowflakes, sugar plums, and magical dolls. Choreographed and directed by renowned Ballet Master Vladimir Issaev, this critically acclaimed performance is a perfect introduction to ballet for young audiences.

5 – If you’re looking for a contemporary dance spectacle, The Hip Hop Nutcracker is just the ticket! This holiday mash-up for the entire family streams virtually December 19 - 20, featuring a dozen all-star dancers, a DJ, a violinist and one of hip-hop’s founding fathers, MC Kurtis Blow. This must-see, remixed and reimagined version of the holiday classic takes audiences on a journey celebrating love, community and the magic of the season.
