Event Details

The story begins in 1970 Birmingham, England, where Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) fused Beatlesque pop with classical arrangements. Mik Kaminski joined in 1973 with his iconic blue violin, followed by Kelly Groucutt and Lou Clark in 1974, helping define ELO's orchestral rock sound. After ELO disbanded in 1986, members formed ELO Part II, later evolving into THE ORCHESTRA. Featuring veterans Kaminski, Clark, and Groucutt, plus new talent like Parthenon Huxley and Louis Clark Jr., the band carried on ELO’s legacy. After the loss of Groucutt and Clark Sr., the group continued touring worldwide.

In 2024, the documentary No Rewind: The Orchestra Starring ELO Former Members was released, chronicling the band's evolution and celebrating their place in rock history. THE ORCHESTRA has brought ELO’s greatest hits to millions across more than 50 countries.
