THIS EVENT IS AT THE ROSE AND ALFRED MINIACI PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, AN AFFILIATED VENUE OF BROWARD CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS ON THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.
Grammy® nominated Celtic violinist, Máiréad Nesbitt, joins forces with New England’s popular Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Trio for a fresh, irresistibly engaging show, full of lively fiddle tunes and mystically haunting airs.
Steeped in both the Celtic and American folk music traditions, Máiréad and the trio puts a fresh, contemporary spin on traditional acoustic music. Máiréad’s contagious high-level energy entertains and engages audiences, creating a stirring musical atmosphere that both lifts the spirit and sooths the soul…
Cutting across cultural boundaries, this presentation is more than just a concert, rather, it is an evening of musical storytelling that resounds with the power of the folksong. From start to finish, Máiréad and the “boys” fiddle, sing, dance and whistle their way into the hearts of music lovers across all generations!
