THIS EVENT IS AT THE ROSE AND ALFRED MINIACI PERFORMING ARTS CENTER ON THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.
Featuring new works choreographed by NSU faculty, guest artists, and selected students, the show will present eight dynamic dances that range from Contemporary Ballet, Modern, Hip- Hop and Jazz Funk. A highlight on this year's program is Artist-in-Residence Cuauhtemoc Najera Ruiz, who served as the co-artistic director for the National Ballet of Mexico from 2019-2024. A seasoned dance professional with a career spanning four decades, Mr. Najera's newest contemporary ballet piece, created specifically for the NSU dance students will premiere as on the Miniaci stage! NSU Dance faculty members Elana Lanczi, Alonzo Williams and Lucila Godoy will present an eclectic mix of pieces, sure to delight audiences. Senior Justin Tran, whose recent solo was selected as a finalist for the American College Dance Association National Festival will present a group piece and Dance majors Olivia Knerr and Amaia Flores, will debut their moving duet . Rounding out the Dance Works program is guest choreographer Damaris Ferrer and NSU Dance alumni Angelina Granitz.
THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
