Glocal Piano Festival: The Road to the Busoni 66th International Piano Competition: 15 Pianists - One Audience Choice

GLOCAL PIANO FESTIVAL is an official preliminary selection event for the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, reimagining how young pianists are discovered by connecting global talent with local audiences. Fifteen
exceptional pianists from around the world will perform, and the Miami audience, serving as the official jury, will select one pianist to advance to the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Italy.

The festival price includes admission to both performances at 12 PM and 7:30 PM. You are not required to attend both unless you want to participate as a judge, in the Audience Jury. Tickets cannot be purchased for individual shows. For more information on judging, please contact Miami International Piano Festival via their website. Each performance will run an estimated time of three hours.

AUDIENCE JURY – Miami Selection
The Audience Jury will serve as the official jury for the Miami Selection of the Glocal Piano Festival Piano Marathon.

Audience jurors are required to:

• Attend both Piano Marathon concerts at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Listen to all 15 pianists, each presenting a 30-minute recital.
• Evaluate each performance based on artistic excellence, technical mastery, musical interpretation, and stage presence.
• Vote for one pianist to represent Miami at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano, Italy, in August 2027.

The pianist receiving the highest number of audience votes will become Miami's official representative at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition.
