ALL ABILITIES SUMMER DANCE WORKSHOP

All Abilities Summer Dance Party is for all ages and their families - Siblings are welcome to participate. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Parents and Caregivers of paid participants are welcome to stay and mingle.

Teaching artists: Instructors from the Exceptional Theater Company

This class teaches theater skills to people with physical and intellectual disabilities in a supportive and nurturing environment. By utilizing theater techniques, students enhance verbal skills, improve movement, build self-confidence, and advance socialization while stimulating free and independent thinking. Students collaborate to create a themed showcase, developing characters and scripting original material for a final performance in the JM Family Studio Theater at the end of the session.
