ADVANCED MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP

GRADES: 6 – 12 | BY AUDITION ONLY | $385

SATURDAYS 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Audition Dates:

  • Aug 19 from 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Aug 23 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Note: Auditions for the Broward Center Spotlights will be held in-person at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Students will be notified of acceptance by e-mail. Decisions will be made by Aug 27. Once acceptance is announced, students will receive a class registration link and must register for the class by Sep 3. Classes are weekly from Sep 19 – Nov 21, 2026. Additional rehearsals and performances are scheduled as community appearances are booked. Class fees apply.

ELF THE MUSICAL JR.

GRADES: 4 – 12 | BY AUDITION ONLY

THURSDAYS 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM AND SATURDAYS 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM | $525

Teaching artists from The Performance Project School of the Arts

Techniques in acting, singing and dance are integrated into the rehearsal process and culminate in a one-hour musical production. This unique performance experience offers students the opportunity to work alongside adult professional actors.  Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Offered in partnership with The Performance Project School of the Arts.

*Students perform during a Broward County Public school day and will have to miss a day of school.

Audition Dates:
August 23 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
August 24 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Note:
Audition results will be provided via email. Decisions will be made by Aug 27. If accepted, students will receive a class registration link and must register for Fall Teen Musical class by Sep 3. If students do not register by Sep 3 and spots are still available, we will start accepting students from the waitlist. Students MUST attend all mandatory rehearsals and all show dates. Students MUST not miss more than 3 class/rehearsal dates. Students are committing to perform in public performances.  NO credits, transfers or refunds will be provided.
