Emmy and Tony Award-Winner Kristin Chenoweth Announced for the 2015-2016 Season

In what promises to be one of the highlights of the coming arts season, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts will present Emmy and Tony Award–winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth in concert with a 12-piece ensemble in the Au-Rene Theater on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m.

Recently seen co-hosting the Tony Award ceremony on CBS, Chenoweth effortlessly moves between stage, film, television and voiceover in an acclaimed career. She may be most remembered by Broadway lovers everywhere for her origination of the role of Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked, which earned her a Tony Award nomination, and her Tony-winning performance in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. For her current appearance on Broadway in On the Twentieth Century, she won Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards and earned notations for Tony and Drama League Awards. Other Broadway credits include the revival of Promises, Promises, Steel Pier and Epic Proportions.
