The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is accepting applications from high school students interested in the arts for its 2016–2017 Broward Center Teen Ambassador Program. High school students attending public, private or home school in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties are eligible to join the program.
Teen Ambassadors participate in educational workshops with touring artists, write reviews, share their experiences via social media and see live performances in every genre.
Since its inception in 2010, the Teen Ambassador Program has given more than 120 students to the opportunity to attend performances and has provided behind-the-scenes knowledge of the arts at the Broward Center, which is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 venues in the world.
This year’s program will be held from September 2016 through May 30, 2017. Each student will earn community service hours for participating in the program.
