SUMMARY:Sensory-Inclusive Performance: Llama Llama LIVE!
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS AT THE ROSE AND ALFRED MINIACI PERFORMING ARTS CENTER ON THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.This Sensory-Inclusive Performance is intended to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and adults on the autism spectrum as well as individuals with other sensitivity issues or developmental disabilities. To create a sensory-Inclusive setting, slight adjustments have been made to the production including reduced sound levels, no flashing or strobe lights and minimal special effects. An area adjacent to the theater has been designated as the ABA Centers of Florida Sensory Quiet Room with specially trained therapist to provide audience support. It’s bedtime for Baby Llama! He’s taken his bath, brushed his teeth, and tucked himself in, but for some reason, he can’t fall asleep. Even with the help of a bedtime story, his eyes just won’t stay closed! Night time can be spooky, especially when Llama is all alone and Mama is downstairs doing who-knows what! Luckily, Llama has his three favourite toys to help him. Join Baby Llama, his Mama, and his friends Fuzzy, Dino, and Robot for an evening of music, dance, and the famous red pajamas. Award-winning playwright-composer-lyricist Austin Zumbro has written a panoply of clever tunes in a variety of styles to create a fun-filled, contemporary musical that expresses the imagination of childhood for both children and adults to enjoy.Presale tickets are available for $10, with prices increasing on February 18, 2027.Going to the Theater Social Narrative – TBDCharacter Guide – TBDLap Tickets are available for purchase for children 12 months and under and only available at the Box Office.
