Based on Disney's epic animated musical adventure about a boy raised by gorillas, Tarzan features heart-pumping music by rock legend, Phil Collins, and a book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang. High-flying excitement and hits, like the Academy Award-winning "You'll Be in My Heart," as well as "Son of Man" and "Two Worlds," make Tarzan an unforgettable theatrical experience.

The Broward Center and Slow Burn Theatre Company are proud to present our first-ever “sensory-friendly” performance this season with this modified version of TARZAN—THE STAGE MUSICAL. This performance is intended to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and adults on the autism spectrum as well as individuals with other sensitivity issues or developmental disabilities. Family and friends are welcome! To create a sensory-friendly setting, slight adjustments are made to the production including reduced sound levels, no flashing or strobe lights, minimal special effects and a quiet zone adjacent to the theater.
