Marcel Duchamp - Defining Space and Time
Marcel Duchamp’s early paintings emphasized an invigorated figure in successive images of a single body in perpetual motion. Duchamp's fascination with transition, change, movement and distance became manifest. This figurative exercise was greatly influenced by the cinematographic early motion photography.
Armando Droulers is an art historian, educator, lecturer, and consultant. He studied at Bard College, Academia de Arte Federico Brandt, New World School of the Arts, and the University of Florida. He lectures on art and culture at museums, universities, schools, cultural centers, corporate events and cruise ships. He has lived in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the United States and speaks fluent English, French and Spanish.Read More
