The Energy! The Excitement! Eastern European Social Studies live on stage! The Tamburitzans of Duquesne University is a non-stop express of high-kicking, fast-stepping, action-packed performances that will leave you breathless. This world-renowned 35 member Folk Company will dazzle you with color and motion through their exciting music, songs and dances of Eastern Europe. Over the past 60 years, the Tamburitzans have made 10 international tours and travel each season extensively throughout the United States. Journey with these extraordinary performers through Russia, Romania, Greece, Yugoslavia and the surrounding countries, as they light up the stage with brilliant costumes, spectacular dances, and youthful exuberance.
