Arts for the Future Scholarships &
Stars On Parade

Now in its sixth year, the Arts for the Future Scholarship has enabled over 300 graduating high school students to continue their arts education and training at colleges and universities. Last year alone, the School Board of Broward County and the Broward Center awarded $65,000 in scholarships to 50 graduates seeking careers in the visual, performing, musical and technical arts.

In March of 2006, we celebrated Florida’s largest arts scholarship program with—what else?—a performance celebrating our scholarship winners. “Stars on Parade” featured 350 student performers on stage and another 500 in the audience of the Amaturo Theater.
