The Broward Center’s unique summer camp program is designed to spark interest in the theater arts, sharpen performance skills and develop self-confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of community in the campers. And, of course, it’s a lot of fun!

During each four-week session, campers are exposed to all facets of the performing arts business from singing and dancing to improvisation and set design, and their studies culminate in a live show performance in the professional setting of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Though campers are urged to work hard, refine their talents and strive for success, the importance of empathy, respect, and strong friendships is reinforced, leaving campers with the sense that they’ve become part of a true “theater family.”

Camps are for ages 7-13, and 14-18.
