One of the nation’s premier opera companies established in 1941, Florida Grand Opera has long dazzled its audiences with world-class singers performing opera’s finest repertory with performances that resonate with the South Florida community.

The Gold Coast Jazz Society’s popular subscription series features concerts that showcase established and emerging jazz, pop and big band artists in the Broward Center’s intimate Amaturo Theater.

Miami City Ballet is hailed by The New York Times as one of “America’s most beloved dance companies.” At the Broward Center, the company performs a series of world-class, critically acclaimed ballet productions year after year in the beautiful Au-Rene Theater.

Carbonell award-winning Slow Burn Theatre Company brings its critic and audience pleasing performances to the Amaturo Theater and the Abdo New River Room. Slow Burn Theatre is celebrated for providing South Florida's diverse population with high quality, daring and contemporary works of theatre featuring local talent and musicians. Slow Burn's unique performances and programs for all ages create meaningful artistic connections among children, youth, and adults. 

Bringing some of the best of classical music to South Florida audiences, the Symphony of the Americas presents a diverse orchestral repertoire at intimately scaled concerts with a wide range of international guest artists in the Amaturo Theater.

The South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO), founded by Maestra Sebrina María Alfonso in 1997, has developed into a superlative cultural institution serving all of South Florida, ranging from Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, to Monroe County. Guided by the belief that music is pivotal to community engagement, the SFSO brings vibrancy, innovation, and strengthens public commitment to the arts.
