Broward Center plays host to Chamber Breakfast on "Latin American Giants"

Broward Center played host to the Chamber Breakfast: "Latin American Giants: Outlook for Brazil and Mexico 2007" on January 18, 2007. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce has organized this important international trade seminar with Activate Group Inc. and other community partners focusing on trade and economic development with Latin America.
 
Broward County Mayor Josephus Eggelletion, Jr. highlighted the important impact that trade with Brazil and Mexico has had with our region and the importance of stimulating this important sector of our economy.
 
Panelists include Joao Almino, Consul General of Brazil; Mike Carricarte, Bi-National Chairman, US/Mexico Chamber of Commerce; Manuel Mencia, Senior VP International Trade & Business Development, Enterprise Florida; Fernando Campo, VP, Latin America & Caribbean, Citrix Systems, Inc. and Martha Bejar, head of Nortel Networks, Latin America and Caribbean region. Ian McCluskey, Publisher, World City, moderated the lively discussion.
